California Cling Peach Board Launches "California Peaches The Industry Gold Standard "

In response to a marketplace flooded with lesser priced (and often lesser quality) imported cling peach products, the California Cling Peach Board (CCPB) has created "California Peaches --The Industry Gold Standard." This food safety CD ROM takes you on a 15-minute virtual tour from the orchard to the table, making the case for spending a few pennies more per serving to purchase cling peaches that are picked fresh, packed fresh in the USA.

Hosted by third-generation cling peach grower and former CCPB Chairman Randy Fiorini, and with special appearances from CCPB members Sarb Johl and John Micheli, the CD ROM portrays the dedication California growers have to their crop and the industry as a whole.  This dedication is further demonstrated via interviews with California agriculture specialists who outline the steps
California growers take to ensure product of the highest standards and grade.
