CAL
CLING PEACH INDUSTRY
Welcome to the California Cling Peach Industry
section.
Back when California was known primarily for the gold rush, one of the states
truest riches was discovered: agriculture. Today, California Cling Peach
farmers continue to carry on the states rich heritage of producing
some of the countrys finest fruits and vegetables by producing nearly
100% of the United States Cling Peaches. For many growers, this is
more than a livelihood; it is a longstanding family tradition and source
of great pride and dedication.
Keeping this tradition alive by promoting California peaches domestically
and internationally is the driving mandate behind the California Cling Peach
Board. Facing a rising tide of imports makes this goal even more critical,
especially when you consider the thousands employed by the California peach
industry and the countless others who relish in the best of California peaches
each year. We thank you for your continued support.
