1 16 oz. can California Cling Peaches in juice or extra
light syrup
3/4 cup ketchup
1/3 cup honey
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1 large clove garlic, minced
Directions:
Drain peaches, reserving all liquid. Combine reserved peach liquid
with ketchup, honey, prepared mustard, vinegar, ginger and garlic.
Bring to a boil in a small saucepan. Boil 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Serve as desired.
Serving Suggestion: For delicious country ribs, place ribs (3 lbs.
pork spareribs) on a charcoal grill about 6 inches from heat source.
Cover and cook slowly, about 1 hour, turning occasionally. Brush
ribs with sauce during the last 20 minutes of grilling. Serve with
grilled vegetable skewers.
Tip: Also serve as condiment for grilled chicken, beef or pork.
