March is here, and along with it come hints of spring and National Nutrition Month® (NNM). The California Cling Peach Board (CCPB) is dedicating this issue of The Peach Press to NNM in celebration of your commitment to students’ health. We know that ultimately your work helps teach healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime.

In this issue you’ll find an informative profile on CCPB Nutrition Advisory Panel member, Marion MacArthur from Mt. Diablo Unified School District , as well as a recipe for an easy and crowd-pleasing smoothie, sure to delight students in your district. You’ll also enjoy reading our Director-to Director column in which Diane Wegner Deshler explains the exciting new materials the CCPB has been working on developing.
